| Traveling-wave tube (TWT) is widely applied in the radar, the remote sensing, electronic countermeasure and other electronic equipment. so it is the very important component in the microwave domain. The stability of TWT is associated with the matching capability of the focus of the attenuation. the matching capability is decided by the distributing of attenuation coat on clamp-pole which compose the focus of the attenuation. so, the distribution of attenuation coat of the attenuation of focus play a very important role in the performance of the TWT, so the testing is very important .How to measure the distribution of the attenuation coat of the clamp-pole, at present we only estimate the distribution of coat roughly by measuring the DC resistance, this method have much error.The topics designed a system based on microwave measure, through the microwave method of measuring the decay we set up a test system for X, Ku-band TWT coated with attenuation of clamping rod along the axis attenuation distribution function measure. In order to enhance the test the resolution,a high resolution the test sensor will be designed. A filter is designed for avoiding energy. Through test |S21| and |S11|,the result is obtained.After imitating and optimizing, the testing sensor has been made. The project is design, at last, the different supports on both sides the pole is tested. The results showed that the theoretical analysis of this study is correct, the measurement system is accurate. Therefore it has a better use value. |
