The application range of RF technology is very broad. Civilian wireless communications technologies, which are represented by the mobile communication technology, greatly promote the innovation of the human communication technology. Military wireless communications technologies, which are represented by the radar technology, are widely used in all aspects of national defense business. RF technology has an extraordinarily important role in wireless communications, whether in civilian or military areas.S-Band is currently the most popular in wireless communications. Many latest communication networks all use S-band as its RF transceiver band. Modern RF transceiver develops toward the higher linearity, larger dynamic range, higher sensitivity and higher resolution directions, and its performance has been greatly improved. In this paper, a S-band RF transceiver front-end is analyzed and realized in detail, from both the device and the system, using software ADS, PROTEL, SOLIDWORKS, etc. to design.Based on in-depth analysis of the project key technical indicators, this paper describes the working principle, program design and implementation process of the subject transceiver front-end in detail. The specific work includes the design and implementation of the receiver module, the transmitter modules, and the comb spectrum signal generator which is the core component of the frequency synthesizer module, and the program design of the frequency synthesizer module as well. Meanwhile, the paper also introduces the usual experience of the transceiver system design.Finally, the system performance of the receiver and the transmitter are both tested. Then, All the systems are connected and tested at the same time. This paper summarizes the design experience, analyzes the existing problems and shortcomings, and proposes the ideas and methods to improve.
