Passive millimeter wave imaging and detection is currently a rapidly developing technology, based on blackbody radiation theory, by receiving target objects'brightness energy in the scene, and utilizing the differences of radiation to achieve the goal of object imaging and recognition. The technology has a broad application range, first applied to astronomical and meteorological studies, the current research focus on the anti-terrorism security, scene monitoring and so on. As the object's weak energy of radiation and the imaging and detection system has the problem of the weak temperature sensitivity and other factors, leading to be difficult to analysis and identify the targets. Therefore, further study of passive millimeter wave detection technology and relevant theories to improve target detection and recognition. Which mainly contain the following contents:1. Based on the concept of radar scattering cross-sectional area to study how radar scattering cross-section affects the radar detection ability, through deduce the passive millimeter wave radiometer detection distance formula, and corresponding theoretical analysis, research on the method of measure the performance of passive millimeter radiometer --radiation object cross-section.2. Through theoretical analysis and metal target radiation brightness temperature experiment to test the radiation object cross section is the appropriate model objects, according to the method to reduce the radar cross section (RCSR), proposed methods of radiation reduced cross-section objects, and which are compared with the RCSR.3. Based on Functional requirements of the experimental system, deduce the servo system's data indicator; design two specific programs abour the servc system, and by comparing the two schemes, one was to be chosen to carry out; based on features of programs to complete the design and development work of Servo System Controller, and conducted related experiments.
