Electronic Warfare (EW), as a special way and means of warfare in modern warfare is playing an increasingly important role. Radar Electronic CounterMeasures (ECM) is an important field in morden EW, which is throughout the whole war. With the developments of the large-scale and high-speed integrated circuits, microwave integrated circuits, and microprocessor technology, which making the radar signal is close to the RF section of high speed acquisition, waveform data mass storage, high-speed signal processing and logic control of bottleneck problems are resolved. These developments reduce the complexity and costs of jamming devices, and greatly improve the real-time ability and reliability. It is the starting point of this dissertation. Radar jamming devices include high-speed data acquisition for the high frequency signal, data reception, jamming signal generation, data transmission and high-speed digital-analog conversion. All these parts influence each other. Supported by corresponding programs, jamming signals are realized in hardware.The main contributions of the dissertation are summarized as follows:1. Describe the theoretical basis of radar active jamming. Deception jamming including range-gate pull-off jamming (RGPO), velocity-gate pull-off jamming (VGPO), towed jamming anout RGPO and VGPO and Audio-Sweeped jamming etc. four types of jamming principle are presented. Noise jamming includes broadband noise block jamming, cover pulse jamming, noise-sweeped jamming and Convolution noise jamming etc. four types of jamming principle are described.2. From the practical problems of generating radar active jamming signal, under adequate resources, made effective on the filtered data collected parallel jamming signal produce structure, which improved the data processing throughput, ensuring Radar source of jamming signals generated in real time. This dissertation makes a detailed description about FPGA design and implementations based on this structure, and the simulation results show the feasibility and high performance of the presented structure.3. An engineering application example is given for radar jamming signal generation system. Hardware system design and implementation of the system function modules are all completed.4. The completion of the test system hardware to ensure reliability of the system. The test of the system by hardware is shown to ensure the reliability.
