FPGA(Field Programmable GateArray)in the industrial field has been widely used,more and more electronic communication products choice the FPGA.FPGA is based on the gate array approach provides users with programmable resources, the formation of its internal logical structure is determined by the configuration data.The configuration data can be re-configured using online ICR(In-Circuit Reconfigurability) configuration to the SRAM in FPGA,but cause the nonvolatie of the SRAM,when power again,it must be re-configuration to the FPGA,the user-programmed functions can be achieved.Previous FPGA system design, configuration data are stored in FPGA embedded system hardware, such as device-specific configuration inside.It's the first time the user can stored the configuration data in external memory access system composed of FPGA before use, the system power when read by the MCU configuration data, and then sent to FPGA configuration. This has many advantages:easy to upgrade and modified; strong security; it can use in the same FPGA in different people and time; the same hardware system into different configurations U-disk can implement different operating systems and application software;it's not only can be store large-capacity configuration data or more configuration data files easily and economically etc., but also consistent with the computer and embedded systems USB OTG hot technology trends.In the development of this project, we first search the configuration data stored in the U disk, and then use the MCU to control FPGA configuration. This paper describes the structure and working principle of detailed configuration mode, configuration files and configuration process, explains the advantages of single chip FPGA configuration and innovation the idea of make the configuration data stored in the U disk.It's also introduced MCU control the hardware and software design which is in USB ,for instance.It's final realization of the configuration data stored in the U disk to the FPGA for the control of single PS configuration, the entire project get the development requirements and expected results have important practical value.
