With the improvement of the internet, streaming multi-media technology is becoming popular in daily life. More people choose internet to order services like VOD and online TV for entertainment. As approved as a new kind of media, video on network has massive potential value on marketing, advertising, and etc. Consider of upgrading the value of label, video websites are ordered to have a huge change on the content of the video. Network has a business cooperation with traditional media, and become more and more important in today's media industry. And at the same time, traditional media such as TV station, video producer, have broaden their way of publishing news onto the network which improve the development of network video industry. With establishing the marketing rules and strengthening the power of surveillance, the environment of the market will become better. It is required to have a effective tool to supervise and manage network resource. At the same time, while enjoying the convenience that internet gives us, some illegal and obscene video are also available in network which may harm the society. Current methods for identifying the video need decode the frame and have high complexity which is not suitable for real-time detection in places of mass data like gateway and multi-media server. This paper presents a system based on a video identification method to detect the media stream from media server in real-time. We chose the widely used MP4 format using our algorithm and analyzed the influence of different parameters in our algorithm of the result. The experimental result shows that our method is easy to implemented and have a relative pleasant result in both false positive and false negative in video identification.
