With the development of information technology, communication network technology in the field of industrial control becomes increasingly important. Many problems in the area of industrial control can be solved one by one with the development of communication network technology. In this area, the introduction of Ethernet has brought a technological revolution in industrial control, but Ethernet does not solve the problem caused by Information Island. The proposition and widely application of OPC (OLE for Process Control) bring a second technological revolution in industrial control, and not only unify the interface specification between industrial control system, but also for solving the problem of Information Island, lay a solid technical foundation depending on their own technical superiority.Through analysis, there are three main aspects in the actual production process based on a company's production scheduling system project. They are the problem of Information Island, the cases of artificial reading and manually filling records and the storage issue of paper reports. In order to solve these problems, two kinds of OPC clients are proposed based on traditional C/S architecture OPC client technology and B/S mode. They are Managed Code to access Unmanaged Code method and Web Services method. These methods of OPC client not only retain the original OPC client's technical characteristics based on C/S mode, but also have more expansibility and flexible deployment capabilities. The performances have been analyzed and optimized, making the operation more reasonable, stable and effective. At last, a production scheduling system is designed and implemented, based on this B/S mode OPC client. This successful operation of the system laid a solid foundation for the further implementation of the integrated control.
