Teaching Affairs Management (TAM), a key link among daily affairs management of all universities and colleges, is a heavy work with the demand of quick response and high accuracy, which influences the overall work of the teaching. TAM involves teaching resources, student roll, the arrangement and implementation of teaching plan, exam affaires, teaching materials, etc. It must be considered how to manage and apply the information of TAM effectively as the means of analysis and decision-making. So a scientific TAM system contributes greatly to the quality and efficiency in the operation of universities and colleges, which makes it possible that a scientific, normalized, informationized and automatic TAM system is achieved.Firstly, the design of general structure and functional module are achieved based on the full analysis of functional requirements of the TAM system, the idea of using mixed C/S & B/S as system developing structure is put forward on the base of analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of Client/Server(C/S) and Browser/Server (B/S) structure. Secondly, the design of datatable structure and data dictionary is accomplished based upon ORACLE database platform, the automatic arrangement of curriculum schedule is realized with the help of genetic algorithms theory, the TAM system is realized by using DELPHI and ASP.NET as the developing tools. Lastly, for the security and efficiency of the TAM system, the problem-solution approach for the system safety is put forward, The realization of database connection pool and optimization technology in this system is researched.The TAM system is already used in a university with sound effects, which provides full information about teaching management for teachers, students and staffs. |
