Laser marking technology is a non-contact, no pollution, no wear and tear of the new tag technology. It will replace the traditional marking process as a result of its unparalleled advantages. Therefore laser marking technology has broad market prospects. With the galvanometer scanning laser marking machine that is based on the embedded system becoming a trend, there is a need to design a marking content generated program for such a laser marking system. It has some practical meaning. In this thesis, the study is about how to mark the present three kinds of laser marking contents in the embedded laser marking machine. The main tasks are as follows:1) After analysis of the Chinese characters and the ASCII code characters encoding and SHX vector font file format, we got the application difficulties of the SHX font file. Then A SHX font file transformation program is proposed to improve the convenience of its application. Finally, the approach of the new font file which is used in the embedded marking system and the outline font fill program are given.2) The method of a BMP image into a PLT vector graphics is designed, which is rich the marking laser vector graphics source. After grasping the BMP image file format, we analyzed in detail the related image processing techniques which covert the BMP file to the vector graphics, such as Gray image, binary image, contour extraction, curve fitting and so on. Finally, the program of the bitmap into a vector graphics and the specific implementation steps are given.3) The study of the bar code vector generation of marking data. After grasping the technical specifications of the EAN-13 barcode which is the most widely used, we give the realization of the program to mark the bar code in the embedded marking system, which is combined with the technical features of laser vector marking.
