Personalized Information Services In The Remote Network Education

Education is of fundamental importance to the fullfilment of our long-range programme.With the development of the society, the way of educatiaon has aslo changed, ranging from the traditional classroom education, to the education via Radio and Television University, and the popularity of network-based distance educataion.The network-based distance education gains acceptance rapidly by society in terms of its convenience and fast update.However, the principle of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude can not be displayed in the stereotyped education mode & fixed studying page. In order to work this problem out, the individuality service system of network-based distance education emerges. This thesis focuses on studying individuality service system based on students' self-testing system.First of all, this thesis introduces the development of network-based distance education, and analyses the problem of network-based distance education.According to these problems, individuality service is introduced.Then the development and application of individuality service is further analysed. Also the idea of individuality service based on students' self-testing system is come up with.Because individuality service technique of e-commerce business develops more fully and is applied more widely,this thesis analyses the recommended algorithm of individuality e-commerice business as well as makes a comparison between the individuality services of e-commerce business and network-based distance education. The recommended algorithm based on contents and recommended algorithm of collaboratively filtering of the nearest neighbor are chosen as the recommended algorithm of individuality sevice system based on students' self-testing information. Secondly, this thesis points out the model of individuality sevice of network-based distance education and analyses the functions as well as designing methods of all functional modules. Then , the designing methods of the module of individuality sevice is analysed in details. According to this module, the prototype of individuality sevice system based on students' self-testing information is designed.At last ,the recommended system of individuality is tested. In terms of the recommended result affirmed by students, the recommended result meets the students' needs basically. Students' accademic achievements are improved obviously in the second test after their review according to the recommended result, which proves that the recommended system is instructive for students.
