In this paper, the background of distance education and development trends as well as design theory and techniques used in a brief introduction, followed by pairs of distance education functions of the various sub-system analysis and outline the design, focusing on details of the Distance Education System examination subsystem, and its detail design, and gives a specific implementation plan.Automatic composition test paper algorithm in examination subsystem is the key technology in the research of this paper. The algorithm is used to automatically search a optimization test paper that satisfies the user's restriction.
