The modern distance education is one kind of new education patterns which constructs the lifelong study in the knowledge economy time. Based on the Web distance education platform which can display adequately the superiority of information technology in the teaching, manifest the student as the main body and the teacher as the leadership's teaching idea, It will be a tendency in the future teaching development.Meanwhile, in distant education environment, teaching and learning is separated, students individual self-study characteristics make teaching managers difficult to monitoring and evaluating the learners learning Process effectively as In traditional classroom teaching, and cannot be directly observed the Performance of learners acts, And most of Based on the Web distance education platforms are unable to monitor and feed back online study. So they could not give a specific learning feed back and guidance. Confronted with this weakness, this thesis begins from the research on the key stage of the teaching feedback. After doing this research, the author tries to set up a feed back model of the modern distance education. This model can help the teachers to search, coordinate and analyze the feed back information of modern distance education under the environment of Internet, has a certain guidance on feedback teaching in distant education environment.According to the feed back model, this thesis has designed a distance education platform. During the design of the teaching platform, this thesis fully studies the architecture, the core components, and work flow of Struts and Hibernate framework. The characteristics of the two comprehensive, a framework model based on Struts and Hibernate was designed. Use the Struts framework as the overall framework for the system to reduce the coupling of the structure, use the Hibernate framework to provide persistent support for reducing the development difficulty of the model and use the Ajax technology provides the non-revolution friendly surface for users. Using this framework keeps the system has a strong scalability, versatility, compatibility and operability. During the analysis and design of this system, this system makes use of Object-oriented Analysis and object-oriented design technology to build the static modeling and the Dynamic modeling by UML. The thesis applies the use case diagram, the sequence diagram, the activity diagram, Collaboration diagram, the state diagram, the class diagram of UML to mode the software requirement, analysis and design from various angles. Concerning the code implement of the model, the paper describes how to realize it. This distance education platform has automatic analysis and information-handling capacity and some other functions. It is a powerful and strong Practical distance education platform.
