Research And Design Of J2EE And XML In The Distance Education Platform Based On

Modern distance education with the development of modern information technology is a new educational mode, It is being applied to teaching activities through the computer multimedia and network technology,The teaching method is realized by the computer and Internet and has become a common trend of educational development.Distance education platform is the basis for the implementation of the modern distance education,Its function and performance directly determines the distance education methods, means,effect and quality. At present, the remote education based on J2 EE and XML with the advantages of simple, reliable, flexible, compatible has become an important component of the modern distance education.This thesis analysed the characteristics and the current domestic and foreign distance education, combined with the research and study of National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee proposed CELTS-1(system architecture and reference modelspecification), Using J2 EE and VRML technology to design the modern distance education platform and realized the main module. On the analysis and design process,On the platform of business logic layer and data persistence layer, using AJAX framework to solve the partial page refresh, instant response problem in the process of asynchronous communication.This thesis mainly introduces the WEB multi-layer architecture and middleware technology, Analysing the J2 EE the architecture and core technology, XML technology and WEB programming technology,we suggested a distributed computing model of WEB application system on the base of J2 EE and XML, to guide the design development education platform for distance education.This thesis focuses on the study of MVC implementation framework, Struts application framework. we established a system of static and dynamic model, detailed function design of the distance education platform through analysing UML technology,under the guidance of computational model,Applying the integrated use of J2 EE and XML technology and component technology, the design of the front is used by Dream weaver, Photoshop development tools for development, using JSP and Java Script technology, the presentation layer displays are controled, finally,It carries on the Tomcat server, complete the design of the distance education platform.The distance education platform and make full use of XML technology, the realization of distance teaching needs better. Finally, The thesis summarized the problems in the platform of research and development and some worthy topics for future research.
