There are more than 0.3 million logistics enterprises in China, but most of them are medium or small enterprises, which have not appropriate supporting platform of information system, partly because of capital shortage, as a result, the development of this industry is greatly slow. According to the requirement analysis, we find these enterprises have their own management models, so the information system is required to have characteristics of high flexibility and short construction cycle that it can have quick responses to customs'demands. To meet these demands, traditional software development technique will face a severe challenge. While component-based bus software development technology will greatly accelerate the speed of software development by shifting the original code development to component-oriented assembly. Meanwhile, Component-based bus software development technology has a loosely coupled component, which has largely improved the flexibility of the system and reduced the maintenance costs. So taking component-based bus software development technology as the main development technology has an important significance for the development of medium and small logistics enterprises.Based on methods of component-based software development and component-bus development, in this paper, we firstly design the architecture for logistics information platform and analyze the whole system with use cases.And according to the results of analysis, we further confirm and determine the business components which will be converted into relatively service components. After analyzing the business demands and reusability of service components, we take finance components in logistics system as example to design relative service components. And using modeling tool---Rational Rose 2003, we give a detailed design for those service components, including use case modeling, modeling of business process and data modeling of service components. And then the database is created based on these designs. To implement the system, we adopt Apache ServiceMix as the component bus and Web Service as component model. After encapsulating the designed new service components by Web Service and testing them using JMeter, we integrate the new components using the ability of the simple delegating integration and process choreographer integration of component-bus. Meanwhile, isomorphic and heterogeneous legacy asset are also packed by Web Service method and integrated by ServiceMix. The prototype system has passed the unit testing and integration testing, and achieved good results.
