This paper is about the study of the vibration characteristic of the ultrasonic transducer system of the aluminum wire bonding at different pressures. The vibration signal of the ultrasonic transducer were collected by PSV-400-M2 Laser Doppler Velometer and the bonding strength was evaluated by the DAGE4000 Machine. The vibration signal was analyzed by the nonlinear vibration theory, and the relationship between the nonlinear statistics and the bonding strength was established.1. The wavelet analysis was used to analyze the vibration signal of the transducer system and the effects of the bonding pressures on the different band composition.2. The mechanism of the surrogate data method was explained, and this method was identified the nonlinear characteristic of the vibration time series, which come from the horn vibration of the transducer and the horizontal and tangential vibration of the bonding tool bottom.3. The nonlinear dynamic method was used to analysis the vibration characteristic of the ultrasonic transducer system. The correlation dimension of the vibration time series was utilized to monitor the vibration complexity of the transducer system in the bonding and the large Lyapunov exponent to detect whether the velocity signal contains the mutation and if have, how much the mutation is. And we could monitor the bonding strength by the large Lyapunov exponent and the velocity RMS of the vibration signal of the ultrasonic transducer system.This research could provide reference for the bonding dynamics monitoring and the nonlinear modeling of this system.
