Telecom Enterprise Income Security System Research And Implementation

With the competition for telecomunication market becoming more and more fierce,revenue assurance is turning into a hot topic for management team of global major telecoms recently. So-called revenue assurance,is to deter and prevent revenue losses through investigation and diagnosis of currently existed business flow and information systems to determine the points of revenue losses. Revenue assurance can not only help telecoms reduce revenue losses and improve corporation efficiency, but also establish standard revenue assurance flow and improve operation efficiency.Based on China telecoms' business supporting systems,this paper has conducted research on the revenue assurance system through the following two major aspacts. The first one is the research of revenue assurance system models for telecoms,whose major research contents include the system architecture and modeling problem of revenue assurance system. On the basis of data mining techniques,a kind of revenue assurance system infrastructure model is proposed that is suitable for the current states of national telecoms' operating and supporting system. The newly designed model consists of three major components such as adapter,correctness checking modules,and analysis modules,and covers all the major steps in the process of revenue generation of telecoms such as customers' business transaction,business opening and changes,customers' call detail records,data collection,billing and accounting treatment,settlement,and charging. The second one is the research of revenue assurance system construction,whose major research contents include the realization methods of revenue assurance system. A new kind of frequent pattern mining algorithm is proposed,which is implicated in the actual construction of revenue assurance system. Throrugh considering the data of customers' call detail records as a kind of data stream,the newly proposed algorithm can gurantee the classification performance while degrade the need for Higher-capability Storage System by using the method of segements for data mining in the data stream. Application results show that the newly constructed revenue assurance system has satisfictional performance,can find out the revenue leaks existed in the revenue forming process of telecoms effectively.
