The temperature is one important parameter of study of science and engineering field. The measurement of flame temperature is an extremely important problem, which is of great significance to the judgement, forecast and diagnosis of burning state. The traditional temperature measurement can only measure the temperature of the point to be measured, which is very difficult to reflect the entire burning situation. Digital image processing technology is a vastly prospecting, field-alternating and comprehensive discipline. It has got wider and wider application. The application in monitoring the flame temperature is comparatively new application. With the development of digital image processing technology, computer technology and photoelectricity technology, the flame temperature measurement on the basis of the digital image processing becomes one of the hot research in the field of flame detecting.The thesis combines the digital image processing technology, CCD image technology and the computer technology to realize the measurement of flame temperature through colour CCD telecamera, image collecting card and software.The thesis consists of five chapters in total.The first chapter intruduces the present situation of the flame temperature measuring technology and digital image processing technology.The second chapter is about rationale. It has introduced a few bases about the flame temperature measurement, and has discussed the principle of optics temperature measurement, the heat radiation temperature measurement, spectral colourtemperature measurement, colour temperature measurement and the factors affecting the measurement and strong points and shortcomings of various methods. It has primarily introduced the principle of CCD-based three primary colours temperature measurement technology.The third chapter is system design. First, it has discussed in detail the principles of the flame temperature measurement on the basis of digital image processing technology, calculating methods and error amending methods. Then the thesis has introduced the software and hardware designing of the checking system of flame temperature measurement including the hardware building and software program through applying the theories above.The fourth chapter is the link of software realization by utilizing Visual C++ 6.0. It has introduced the software function module, parametric ascertaining and software utilization and has proved the system has the fine consumer interface and higher testing accuracy, making use of experiments to make a contrast.The fifth chapter is the concluding part, summarizing the main job of the thesis, pointing out the creativity and the deficiency in the job, looking into the future of development direction of the checking system of flame temperature measurement on the basis of the digital image processing.
