In recent years, the emerging of the Internet, mobile and other rising media have taken place revolutionary changes covered the news edition, production, release and the receiving terminal. Thus the traditional newspaper industry is combating by a series of unfavorable factors, such as soaring newsprint prices, declining circulation, shrinking advertising business and so on. China's newspaper industry has being suffered an unprecedented impact so that economic situation is not optimistic. However, any crisis always contains turning point for the plight, many newspapers develop the network business positively to shake off the plight and maintain competitiveness. So that it can help traditional newspapers find a new survival mode. "Newspaper-network Interaction" is generated under this circumstance.Chinese Newspaper is probing and advancing in confusion to adapt to the pace of the developing Internet. After several years of practice, the Chinese press has found a way of the innovation and walk out the predicament. This is a new "Digital Press." The integration of newspapers and network is the initial transformation of the newspaper industry. Newspapers across the country have tried, national minority press area is no exception. Given the Provincial Party Newspapers have being in the domination from the coverage, guidance to authority, and so on. This article focuses on the principal newspaper, the metropolitan newspaper, network as well as the value-added newspaper by the extension of mobile in the five western ethnic minority autonomous regions- the Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Guangxi, Ningxia, Tibet. It analyses the status quo and the mode of the interaction in this five ethnic minority autonomous regions, find some problems, put forward countermeasures, all of this in order to help development smoothly of the digital newspapers in ethnic minority autonomous regions.This thesis is composed of four chapters:Chapter 1: The definition of newspaper-network interaction and the background.This phenomenon is caused by the multi-factor rather than by chance. We discuss the definition of the newspaper-network interaction, deeply analyze the cause of emergence and conclude the strategic significance it embodied. On the basis of those causes, newspaper-network interaction is starting in the ethnic minority autonomous to realize the primary transformation.Chapter 2: The positive effect of newspaper-network interaction in the ethnic minority autonomous.By way of quantity research and comparative study, we discuss the development of the newspaper, network and mobile in the five western ethnic minority autonomous regions. Based on this premise, the author divided newspaper-network interaction into six main-modes and give instances of these mode.Chapter 3: The problems met by these newspapers.Five aspects are described in this chapter. By contrast the development of the newspaper-network interaction in ethnic minority autonomous regions and in developed areas, we try to analyze the problems and obstacles that hinder the development of those newspaper-network interaction.Chapter 4: Discuss the development strategy and the prospect of the ethnologic newspapers-network interaction.The ethnologic newspapers have been found on the practice of developed areas and overseas. However, it has the unique advantages. The paper points out a way which has the feasibility of the ethnologic newspapers-network interaction. Newspaper-network interaction is the primary phase of media convergence, the final prospect is to achieve multi-channel media convergence in the future of China.
