New National Party Newspaper Supplement Localization Survival

Because of the social transformation and the change of audiences' psychology and the media environment, as well as the fierce competition between media, the supplements of party papers experienced a period from literary to the general. This thesis is mainly about the localization survival of party papers supplements in ethnical areas, based on the economic development and newspaper changes in 1990s. This thesis also found out the differentiation advantages and core competence of the supplements by analyzing the problems and the solutions.This thesis is composed of four following parts:The first part reported the developing progress of the supplements and their functions. The supplements have gone through three stages since 1890s.The second part analyzed the party spirit, ethnical and regional features of the party supplements in ethnical areas, and the painful experiences caused by the impact of market economy.The third part chose a particular ethnical paper as a model, to point out the development and functions of the supplements.The last part pointed out the opportunities and challenges and provided the Countermeasures. Following these is the conclusion.The characteristic of the research decides the main methods including case analysis method, data analysis method, synthesis method,etc.
