Chaos is a deterministic and random-like phenomenon found in non-linear dynamic system. Owing to chaotic dynamic system's extreme sensitivity to its initial conditions and chaotic parameters,a large number of non-periodic,continuous wideband frequency spectrum,noise-like,yet deterministic and reproducible chaotic signals can be generated. Consequently chaotic theory and technology is very useful for the research on RNG. Aiming at the design of chaotic random number generators and their applications in modern communications filed, the author makes this in-depth and comprehensive study.Firstly this thesis gives a detailed treatise to chaos basic theory from many aspects, the defination of Chaos, the description on the character of Chaos Campaign,it introduces a variety of common chaos models , guidelines which chaos study needs and analysis of chaos noise character, which gives the essential difference between Chaos and random noise. However, as the autocorrelation function and power spectrum of chaos are like those of random noise, Chaos can be seen as random noise. Then, this article studies basic theory of random sequence ,discusses several generated methords of random sequence and analyzes the relation and difference between random sequence and chaos. On the basis of Chaos theory ,it studies and analyzes the Chaotic sequence of quantitative methods. It improves on the classical model of discrete chaotic—logistic.Aiming at its drawbacks such as few keys, unsafely, attacked easily, a method of generating random binary sequence based on a couple of Logistic map models is presented. It's shown that the method can generate high-performance RS by analyzing random performance. The digital hardware of the RSG is designed by VHDL. It has the advantages of simplification, convenience, stabilization, reliability and high speed. At last the RSG (is)can be used in Information Security and Secure communication.
