A research is done in my paper on chaotic maps. Aimed at overcoming the shortcoming that spread spectrum (SS) sequence generated by single map have low system complexity and that initial value is easily estimated by anti-deduct, a new map is constructed, based on Logistic-Map and Tent-Map. This map can be realized easily by digital circuit, and have high system complexity also. Then a new plan in which coefficient hopping is adopted to generate SS sequence is proposed, base on the new map.The analysis on the plan shows that the chaotic SS sequence generated by the use of the plan possesses merit like auto-correlation and interrelation, etc. Compared with traditional SS sequence, this sequence is more capable of ant-interference of narrowband, broadband and multi-path. The plan can generate lots of SS codes, so that it can solve the contradiction between limited bandwidth and infinitude requirements of increasing customers in present communication system and it has ability of secrecy too. The plan can be applied in SS communication system for both military and commercial use.Also, in my paper a design of chaos-based SS sequence generator is done by using field programmable logic device FPGA as hardware circuit carrier, and a hardware circuit program is written in Verilog hardware description language. The circuit is synthesized by Synplify Pro which is Synplicity's synthesis tool and emulated by Quartus II which is Altera's developing tool, which has proved the feasibility and correctness of the circuit.
