Query Systems Analysis And Design, Urban Traffic Information Based On Gis Technology

Study on city Bus GIS DevelopmentAbstractThe Service of traffic information is an important item in Urban InformationService.ln urban Internal,Taxi and Bus are two main transport vehicle.Taxi is on callat anytime,whose driver will carry passenger to anyplace according to the requirementsof passengers in the shortest possible time,so passengers needn't to know which taxi isthe right one.While Bus is run on the regular routes unless special requirements,so thepassenger must know some information about it before they decides which bus is the rightone.By reason of above,we developed City Bus GIS to satisfy requirements.This article set City Bus GIS Development as a research project.Theobject-oriented Software Engineering theory Geographical Information System theoryare used in article,ln addition,some software and components including MapObjects2.0,Visual Basic.NET,SQ Server 2003 are adopted.We used Visualization software modeling tool to describe our object system indifferent aspects,ln phase of the system implement,we coding and debugging for eachfunction according to the results of analysis and design.As a result,we developed theBus Information Query Service system.The relative new theory and technology system,which inObject-Oriented Software Engineering and GIS domain,and their application fields arediscussed entirely and deeply.The three developing methods are compared,we adoptedthe integrated one,"VisualBasic.NET+Map Objects",which is met to actual need inengineering application.In the aspect of technology,the City Bus GIS is developed through VisualBasic.NET as a interface development and programs design tool,Map Objects which manageand analyze the spatial information by OLE technology,and the SQ Server 2003 which serves as database management system by OLEDB and Data connectioninterface in Map Objects connecting Attribute Data and Spatial data in system.In the aspect of application,the Dynamic Segment Technology is applied to buildRoute System,which describe the Bus Routes,the Relationship Database technology and GIS technology are used to Bus information Query and Visualization,we fulfilled somefunction,such as Place information query,station information query,Bus Line query,Bus Ride Plan query.The results show that it works so well.
