Dispatchers To System Design And Development Of Refresher Training

Flight dispatcher plays an important part in the operation of airline. In order to improve the comprehensive quality and management level, we must strengthen the re-training of flight dispatchers. Taking the current situation of airlines into account, it develops a retraining system for flight dispatcher which provides a convenient and efficient learning and self-testing platform after a detailed requirement analysis and systematic investigation.The main work is as follows.First, on the basis of thorough analysis about user requirements, it proposes a model construction and overall technology scheme of airline dispatcher retraining system and also draws up the curriculums'composition, ways of learning, assessment approach, the function of the software, database planning, software developing tools and so on.Second, in corporation with dispatchers, inspectors and teachers in main curriculums, it develops retraining curriculum's composition and item banks about every curriculum including"dispatch work regulations","B737 flight performance","load balance scheme","Aeronautical information services","aviation weather service"and"Dispatch Cases Studies"Third, according to the order of software system development and method used in software engineering, it gives the system's software research and development, database construction and programming implementation. The system mainly consists of four modules: curriculum study module, test module, curriculum management module and personal information management module. In a word, the system adopts Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 as the translation environment and SQL Server 2000 as background database, which make the application powerful and easily used and meet the demands of airlines.
