The application of information and networking technology to the armored vehicles is the major developing trend of the People’s Liberation Army Ground Force (PLAGF). The armored vehicle chassis integrated electronic information system enabled the alleviation of contradictions and improvement of integrity by distributing, employing and sharing all the information incorporated in it which led to an enormous cut-down on the full costs as well as a huge enhancement on the capability of armored vehicles for commanding, controlling and integrated battling.This thesis focused on the building-up of the armored vehicle chassis integrated electronic information system based on an embedding system. It also expounded the master design for the system in addition to the designs for the CAN bus snooping system, the virtual instrument display driver task terminal and the vehicle navigation systemCombining the practice of the armored vehicles of a certain type, it also offered an outlook for the armored vehicle chassis integrated electronic information system while discussing the implementation, applicable features and mainly addressed problems of the system. The achievements of this thesis have already been applied to a developing program of PLA which are playing an even more important part in the enhancement on the capability of armored vehicles for commanding, controlling and integrated battling.
