Open Numerical Control System Network Communication Research

With the development of the manufacturing industry, the trend of small batch size produce strengthens increasingly,the flexibility and the commnality of Computer Numeric Control (CNC) tool machine are put forward to a higher request.The control system appllied by market which is rapit,high efficient,low cost,facing to the customer and suiting different machining request are hoped to greatly reduce the maintenace and training cost.At the same time,the new generation CNC system with more convenient network function is asked to fit for the producing organization and managing mode facing to assignment and indent in the future workshop.The Open Numeric Control (ONC)system brings many advantages to CNC system producing factories, the tool machine manufacturing works and customerses. It is inevitable developmental trend of the Numeric Control (NC) technique.The structure mode of network commuication of ONC system is researched in this topic.Then,the establishment of Ether Net(EN) basing on ONC system is extracted.Textual main research contents are as follows:①Against the present condition of manufacturing enterprises in our country and the real situation in our college, the structure system basing on ONC system and stucture of EN basing on serial isomery NC tool machine are established.②Basing on the analyzing of EN developmental module"RCM2250"and serial communication agreement,the hardware of network communication and methods of software which are achieved on ONC sytem are reserched.③Basing on EN and TCP/IP agreement,the methods to design of network communication program of DNC server are analyzed, and the connecting and the communicating between NC tool machine and CNC host machine are implemented by EN.Through debugging and applicating of the system on locale, the while design is proved actually feasible.Forthermore, this programme would have higher reserching meaning and social economic value,but have a certain margin with the perfect ONC system.
