Hospital Surgical Management System Design And Implementation

Hospital Management Informationization is not only an important component of National Healthcare Informationization, but an important means of Healthcare Management Modernization as well. Research and construction of Hospital Management Information System is the infrastructure project of Healthcare Informationization. This topic is a sub-topic of Hospital Management Informationization of Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College. Affiliated Hospital of Luzhou Medical College is the greatest hospital of Grade III Level A in Southern Sichuan. Owing to the numbers of hospital beds increased to 1,600 and the numbers of surgical operations grew significantly after New Surgical Building has been put into use, surgeons have to spend more time and energy into processing non-surgical services now. So, developing and deploying a Surgery Information Management System (SIMS) will optimize surgical operation flow and improve greatly work efficiency of surgeons.For the above-mentioned reasons,this paper analyses deeply demand of surgical management and researches the construction and implementation of SIMS. The main contents are as follows:1,Analyses and designs Course Scheduling Algorithm (CSA) for Surgery-related resources planning;2,Introduces how to use object-oriented principle to design and implement database application;3,Introduces how to use PowerBuilder to develop and implement a SIMS;4,Describes the test and implementation of SIMS, and shows its prospect.
