Along with the information technical development, domestic and international network teaching research and development of the terrace has been becoming a little bit hot day by day. The teaching resources on the net also have been enriched greatly. However, most of the present network teaching materials obviously still has many weak points, such as traditional mode; system- centered; without considering customer's need and without considering person's study regulation; requesting a person to adapt to a system not a system to adapt to a customer and so on, which cause a lot of problems, such as poor interaction and poor teaching effect between a person and the net.Thus the author, firstly, has a close research on the influential study theories, that is, behaviorism, cognitivism and constructivism study theories. Based on pre-study, the author chooses constructivism study theories as the instructive theory for his present thesis in order to build an Individual Intelligent Tutoring System which can provide a resources share and meet individual study need.Individual Intelligent Tutoring System is the effective way to carry out individual study. It takes cognitive science as its theories foundation. Meanwhile, its teaching system comprehensively made use of products of education psychology, education technique, calculator science etc., which can develop the teacher's predominant function, and embody students'cognition as well.This thesis carried on a study for the IITS concept, system structure and function etc. respectively. It also went deep in to study knowledge model, student's model and teaching model etc. and set up, under a network environment, an intelligence teaching system. Among them, the knowledge model adopts tree type structure which is advantageous to the knowledge connection, the organization, management, invisibility and can satisfy most academic knowledge needs. In addition, a student's model of cognition has been displayed, which can not only reflect the student's knowledge level and study circumstance, but also the student's cognition ability.This thesis makes use of 3 F B/S model, SQL Server network database, ASP technique and design and carried out that system. This system has IITS and the basic function of on-line teaching system, man-machine interface amity. Its noticeable feature is opening of the system and expanding of knowledge. That system can be used for multi-subjects and is an in general use teaching terrace of the intelligence network.The system has already been passed at campus net environment. From its working effect, the system circulates efficiently, stabilizes and credibility, which has a higher popularization value.
