Transmit/receive modules is widely applied in the system of the radar, the communication, the navigation, the earth working station of satellite, and the electronic countermeasure. The thesis is focused on the millimeter-wave transceiver and its components.Through scheme comparison and the existing experiment condition,the superheterodyne structure is used in the module in order to achieve high sensiticity and high suppression of image frequency. The transmitter and receiver also use the double -convertion structure, and the module is divided into several components such as IF circuites, RF circuites, frequency synthesizer and power supply. The system work in TDD(Time Division Duplex) mode. The transmitter part is include of the up-convertion, power amplifier, and the receiver contains the LNA(Low Noise Amplifier) and the down-conversion. The TR module can stop the interference of the out-band signal and suppress the leakage of the Local oscillation.It is difficult for the T/R module that is the channels between Antenna and signal processing to launches and accepts the radio-frequency signal and to achieve certain power and sensitivity, has character of high image trjection, low noise, The topic researches the structure and design of millimeter-wave T/R module,at the same time researches and designs the unit circuit module for millimeter-wave T/R module(frequency source, power ,waveguide-to-microstrip transition, filter).Lastly based on the work above,a millimeter wave T/R module is developed and the analysis of the result is also introduced. The receive gain is higher than 30dB, noise figure is less than 8dB; the transmit gain is higher than 40dB,the transmitter power reaches 27dBm. The phase noise level is all less than-73dBc/Hz@10KHz. The spurious suppression of the modules is greater than 50dBc, because there is a millimeter cavity filter after the mixer. System works stability and has good performance.
