Internet technology is developing on a significantly high level in the last decade, as well as the broadband of individual families.As a result of these developments, there come various new services of internet.Live streaming is one of these products that have become the major service of internet.However,traditional streaming system can't follow the dramatically increasing user amount which always leads to fast consumption of servers' resources and Backbone network's congestion.In this case,it should be a lot of sense that utilizing P2P streaming system in large scale media streaming can disperse stress or load of servers and backbone network.Currently,the main problem of P2P streaming system is the robust of the system. An efficient solution should capture the following features:Managing Peer dynamic, Peer heterogeneity,Efficient overlay network Construction,Selection of the best peers, Monitoring of network conditions,Incentives for participating peers.Firstly,we described the main research content,key technologies,achievements and innovation of this research,then,it gave a more detail description of the system. On this basis,it shows key technologies of P2P routing.In order to ensure the robust of the system,we focuses on how to achieve regional autonomy of nodes,how to dynamically adjust the regional size,how to get quick response when a new node joins in,how to safely switch nodes,as well as other details of some improvements. At the foundation of these technologies we implemented a P2P live streaming media systems,compared and analyzed the actual performance of the system.Finally,it summarized the research content and put on some future research directions.
