Areas Of Expertise Based On The Relational Database Semantic Dictionary Build

Ontological Semantic lexicon,in the field of import and export,is very useful in the integration and sharing of information and it is an important part of many intelligent systems.The field of import and export has very strong policies and it demands the building of the knowledge base be authoritative. Building import and export ontology from scratch is so complicated and time consuming that it may encounter a bottleneck.A huge amount of field knowledge and historical data exist in relational databases.The semantic lexicon can be built more efficiently with the help of such knowledge.This thesis studies the role,characteristics and structure of import and export ontology.A method,building import and export semantic lexicon based on relational database,is proposed.After that,this lexicon is merged with a previous lexicon we manually built to enhance our HS code intelligent querying system.The import and export ontology in this thesis is described in OWL DL.An old manually built lexicon and some parts of WordNet is Merged into our lexicon to improve accuracy of intelligent querying.OWL API of Protégéis used to store the lexicon in relational database before we use SPARQL to do the inquiry to improve efficiency.Compared to the building efficiency of the old manually built lexicon,that of the lexicon from this thesis is much more desirable by saving almost 90%of man cost.As we can see from inquiry result,90%of accuracy rate and 93.5%of call back rate is as good as the previous ones.Ontology based semantic lexicon will play an even greater role in the reusing and integration of domain ontology among different organizations within the industry.
