With the development of information technology, secure identity identification technology becomes the key problem in many systems.Traditional security systems based on ID card or Ticket become fragile and cannot meet the demand of modern security system. So biometric technology is the most convenient and secure identity identification technology because of uniqueness and permanence of biometdc character. Fingerprint identification is one of the most efficient biometric technologies. And it has been applied inmany fields such as entrance-locking system, attendance teminal, e-commerce.In this paper, an embedded wireless fingerprint identification test management system was designed and realized. The system Built-in Linux, fingerprint identification modular, wireless communication modular. With the TCP/IP protocol, the system first reconstructs the fingerprint through image processing. Then, it generates IP packets of feature information and sends them to the server. The server can acquire this information from network, and match it with the existing information in the database. Equal attention is payed to wireless communication modular and Ethernet communication modular and the system based on practical situation is designed, the system has ability to exchange data between device and center database whose ability is required by qualification of soft real time. This thesis is a whole description of my research works. The core algorithm referred in the thesis has been accomplished and the module has been used in the fingerprint lock and fingerprint coffer. the test from that results good.Every key segment of the fingerprint recognition has been described detailed in this thesis. It is valuable to people who are developing the fingerprint recognition system in other fields.
