With the development of video coding standard, H.264/AVC is the latest video coding standard, and its excellent coding efficiently make a substantial reduction in bit-rate video transmission, in the wireless transmission environment, the application of video applications is increasing. However, transmission of video will be affected in the wireless transmission of high bit-error and low-bandwidth , so the main work of this task is to study suitable fault-tolerant technologies for wireless video communications.This article firstly introduce the H.264/AVC coding standard and the fault-tolerant technology for wireless transmission characteristics of the environment, and choose some combination of fault-tolerant technology which are simulate the environment , Simulation and Come in the wireless transmission of fault-tolerant environment strategy and the characteristics of fault-tolerant tools .Then made a wave-like sort of flexible approach macroblock which have summed up the characteristics.And make it more suitable for wireless transmission.Then research the error concealment technology of the decoder, first analysis the error concealment module of the H.264 reference software JM detailedly, and an analysis algorithm for error concealment in the airspace of the algorithm, refer to the intra-prediction forecasting model, here raised the eight kinds of error concealment mode, and eight kinds of patterns based on a modified 4×4 on the direction of the airspace block hidden technology, and the experiment proved that the algorithm proposed in this paper in terms of the quality of the competent or objective are better than the algorithm in JM.For time-domain error concealment algorithm, where a complex texture gradient through the matching algorithm at the time, according to the circumstances of the different proposed a simple adaptive algorithm for time-domain error concealment, according to the different textures around different matching algorithm.
