Currently,the next generation of video transmission,3G and next generation broadband wireless promotion,And high demand for video,multimedia services and video transmission.H.264 is a new generation of efficient coding standard for video compression coding standard and has become a hot spot in the field of multimedia communications.When video image gets high compression ratio and low redundancy,the video image becomes very vulnerable in communication transmission.Therefore,the error concealment technology has become an important research direction in the field of image processing.First,this paper introduces the basic principle and key technology of H.264,Aiming at the problem of packet loss and error in video transmission,Error concealment methods are studied and compared with other algorithms.In a wireless transmission,the compressed video stream can result in lower quality of image reconstruction with the motion vector mismatch.A motion vector recovery for video error concealment based on the plane fitting algorithm is proposed.According to the characteristics which the correlation between the adjacent macro blocks and the multi reference frame of the H.264 video standard.The motion vector of each divided block surrounding the lost macro-block is projected to one point for one plane present the MV changing tendency in small regions.This algorithm reconstructs the motion vector of the damaged macro-block by the fitting plane algorithm based on the improved boundary matching algorithm,and then the optimal motion vector is selected to reconstruct the damaged images.This algorithm not only avoids the block effects that caused by the original algorithm,but also in different probability of RTP packet losing,the peak signal to noise ratio of the algorithm has been improved compared to the other error concealment algorithms.Simulation experiment shows the effectiveness of the proposed method in this paper.
