Based on the design theory of Software radio, the digital IF system digitizes the signal, then completes digital signal procession in the digital domain. This design method avoids the impact bring from the analog devices, also it has a brilliant future.The main features of this digital of IF acquisition and procession module are consisted in paralle multi-channel architecture, high-speed and high-precision digital, the capability of parallel high-speed digital processing, support the expansion of renewable signal processing logic (IPcore) implantation, as well as the cache and bus architecture supporting the transform of continuoues proceed data. Based on the theory of Software radio, and the overall hardware design of digital IF acquisition and processiong module, this dissertation deeply introduces the details of hardware design for each function mudule. The design of hardware needs to achieve four-channel sample synchronously, up to 105MSa/s sampling rata, 14-bits resolution, have the function of digital down convertion, and the sampling data is uploaded to a computer through 66MHz/64 bits PCI bus interface. The experimental results show us that the digital IF acquisition and processing system works properly, at some extent it meets the requirement of design indicators .Firstly this dissertation introduced the design and application background of digital IF sampling and processing module, also we introduce its function and usage, then gives out the overall hardware architecture. Followed by a detailed description of hardware design for each function module, meanwhile, discusses some problem in PCB placement and routing and gives out the resolution in practical design. Finally tests are given to the module function and technical indicators, including: function test of sampling and digital down convertion; dynamic performance test of the Effective Number of Bits(ENOB), Signal to Noise Ratio(SNR) and the Spurious-Free Dynamic Range(SFDR), also analyses some main factors which impact the indicator of these dynamic performance.
