Infrared thermal imaging device play important role in the military, civil, industrial areas.This issue, "The Research of Multi-Interface Technology in Infrared Imager", is aimed at the design of multi-interface for Infrared Imager in order to adapt to different fields of application. LCD display interface is designed for application of hand-held. VGA, S-Video and composite video(AV) are convenient and low-cost for industrial, medical, monitor applications. Ethernet and USB interfaces make Infrared imager attach the requirements of real-time , rapid, high-speed in remote monitoring and scientific research applications.The design of multi-interface takes two mainly advantages: first, very conducive to the use and development of infrared imager. Secondly, extending the life of the application-software.This paper introduces multi-interface designing from seven parts. System design program, LCD interface, VGA interface, video interface, Ethernet interface, USB interface and an integrated multi-interface design. System design program focuses on program design, system architecture, feasibility analysis. In each separate interface, main subjects are scheme designing, functions of each parts in scheme, chip features, core details of realization, display-interfaces can display image on corresponding terminals, Ethernet can sent out packets, only the USB interface need realization phase, multi-interface integrated part focuses on difficulties of integrating, and the corresponding solutions.
