Anybody in the nature world with the temperature higher than absolute zero can emitelectromagnetic radiation in a wide wavelength range and generate radial energy. Differentmaterial, temperature and color has different infrared radiance.Invisible infrared energy can be transformed to visible thermal image by infraredthermal imager, different color in the image symbolize different temperature. It is necessaryperform a temperature calibration test to get accurate temperature value of the object, temperature and infrared radiance have nature relationship, so first we need to test theradial energy then we can calculate the temperature value. The performance of the uncooled infrared detector is analyzed in the paper, the modelof temperature test is built through the theory of infrared radiation, besides, the temperaturetest experiment is performed with the infrared imager developed by our lab.The change of detector temperature and ambient temperature affect the result ofcalibration most, in addition, emitting rate of the object, atmospheric transmittance and testdistance can also bring test errors. Therefore, we need to make a simple analysis andillustration for the effects of different factors, the data is processed by the MATLAB andISTOPT software and the data fitting of the result is made. From the experiment of the calibration test we can see that the temperature change andambient temperature are nonnegligible effect factors to temperature calibration test, moreeffect factors needs consideration if we want to get more accurate results.
