With the GIS (geographic information system) developed the theory, its application has been expanding, GIS will be used in the management of campus housing is the realization of the College Digital Campus an important part of the building. Campus property management system through the integration of Management Information System (MIS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) receives people's attention. This article in the foundation which studied separately to the management information system and the geographic information system theory has analyzed MIS and the GIS integrative system establishment necessity and the feasibility. In this foundation, the thesis studies some main integrated technologies for example: visualization technology,COM,Spatial database etc. The most important is the SDE (Spatial Database Engine) is used so as to put special database into relational database.Taking Xiyu college real estate management as the main development background, using Arc Objects component technology, and integrating the spatial data with the service data through Arc SDE, this paper has realized estate management system based on the geography information.Through this article's research, the following inspiration may be obtained:1. The method integrating GIS with MIS based on component is efficient, convenient and costs little. In general developing platform, the second developing pattern of the component based development is the effective method for GIS and MIS application integration.2. Based on the model of SDE+RDBMS, connecting with the Keywords, realizing the integration and seamless connection of spatial data of GIS and no-spatial data of MIS, probing into the way of cooperative management and operation with them.
