Development And Implementation Of Intelligent Network Teaching System

With the rapid development of the Internet/the Intranet as well as the broad application of www technology, education is gradually entering the age of network. Information management platform, which focuses on web technology, has shown its formidable vitality and is gaining more and more favorite from managers. Meanwhile, the information technical revolution, symbolized by the prevailing use of Internet, has enabled the mufti-media technology to experience an unprecedented advancement, which lays a solid base to modern network teaching.Network teaching, a new-style education form with its development based on the modern information technology, has gradually become a main way for the lifelong learning system in the knowledge economic era.As the supplement and extension to the traditional education approach, Network teaching can make up for the insufficiency of the educational resources, enhance the efficiency of taking advantage of the available educational resources, which can adapt to the requirements of continuing education and adult education modes, and to the needs of autonomous learning. With the great-leap-forward development of the higher education in China, Network teaching is developing very fast in the past years.The Network teaching has some unexampled advantages than that of the traditional teaching approaches, which creates a brand-new teaching mode and breaks the spatio-temporal restrictions in the traditional teaching method. This new approach adopts the advanced teaching methods and means, then carrying out and actualizing the teaching purpose suitable for the development of all individuals. Therefore, the exploration and implementation of this learning system, integrating with Network, is becoming more and more popular, arousing more concentration.This thesis introduces the theoretical base and its development of CAI, probing into the theory to exploit the intelligent network teaching system and corroborating the fundamental functional requirements of this system. Combined with the viewpoint of software engineering and the characteristics of the ASP.NET developing, this thesis provides a detailed need analysis on this system. The design philosophy, general structure and function of this supportive teaching system based on ASP.NET, including implemental method and techniques will be presented and discussed.An intelligence network teaching system is designed integrating with the needs of Computer Culture Elements.This system adopts the B/S structure, paying attention to a good expandability, and employs the modularized design method to divide the system into several functional modules, including such subsystems as teachers, online question/answer, online testing, etc.This system fulfills the present applicative requirements, and lays the foundation for our further research work in future. And also this system puts forward the idea and thought that we can develop a universal intelligent network teaching platform.
