Msp430 Microcontroller And Tcp / Ip Protocol-based Multi-parameter Acquisition System

In the terrible industrial environment, most of the monitor work can only be implemented by the measurements&instruments. This means that the development of the measurements&instruments has a direct affect to the industrial automation. With the rapid progress and application of the electronic measurement&instruments in these years, the instruments are proceeding towards to the intelligentize, low powe, high precision, high performance, multi-function and so on. These developments make a solid foundation for the industrial automation technology.In the field of the industrial automation, the design of data collection system based on the measurements&instruments is one of the most important steps. In this paper, a data acquisition system based on the SingleChipMicrocomputer and Internet communication is introduced in detailed. The system includes SingleChipMicrocomputer technology, communication technology, and mesurements technology. It can work for a long time by using the power form batteries. The data could be uploaded to the host computer by the Internet. Low powe, high precision, easy expended and Internet communication are the strongpoints of the system.The MSP430 is chosen as the core of the collecting system because it is the low power and chip in price. All of the circuits including the power circuit, data acquisition circuit, communication circuit, key and display circuit are designed in this paper. At the same time, the software of the system is designed. The data collecting by the system can be displayed on the native LCD or on the long-distance host computer by the internet.The system also keeps the extra interfaces for the different requirments.
