Laser Plastic Welding System Control Software

More and more people are highlighting laser transmission welding of thermoplastic because of so many advantages, such as excellent welding quality, easy to control, available for micro-welding (seam less than 500μm) and so on. Especially thermoplastic in automobile industry, laser transmission welding is the first choice in this field. However, there are few domestic studies on this research subject; especially there has few studies on research of software. Then the controlling technique is every important for laser system. Therefore, research on controlling software for laser plastic welding of has a significant meaning.The paper study the controlling software for laser plastic welding and reach the achievement and conclusion as following:1. Realizing controlling the laser with the serial cable and the common parallel cable: the serial cable can set up the laser system, and the common parallel cable can change the laser state real time. So this can have the excellence both the serial cable and the common parallel cable.2. Study the litter route joining controlling of high speed, establish Look-head function. This function can make the laser plastic welding much more celerity and exactitude.3. Using OSTC and dynamic focalizing technique, let the laser plastic welding system of scan much more celerity and exactitude. This will be make the laser plastic welding system using in industry more easily.All the above has improved the capability of laser plastic welding system, so this paper has achieved the research goals.
