The appearance of Web service mainly comefrom the demand which make use of Internet to realize RPC, Web service has the advantage of combination of oriented module and Web technology, and put forward a kind of new architecture that oriented service. P2P is kind of network computing model, this technology can wipe off the centralized server, and permit to exchange resource and service between peers directly. The distributed characteristic of P2P technology offer better environment to the developing Web service. With the rapid development of Web service, more and more people begin to construct corresponding application with idea of service oriented, and they urgently need to construct, deploy and employ the effective method and practicable technique of oriented service under the dynamic and open calculation environment.Current web service discovery mechanism requires replication of all web service publications all registries. Large growth in number of Web services as well as the growth in the number of registries makes this replication impractical. Distributed web services discovery mechanism is put forward for its distribution and scalability. In this paper, we introduced a novel approach for semantic discovery of web services in Chord-based registries. We use the structured peer to peer overlays as the service repository network, and we distribute semantic service advertisements among available registries such that it is possible to quickly identify the repositories containing the probable matching service. After advertising we propose the conception of Concept Group and Service Characteristic Vector to implement a scalable, efficient and reliable service discovery framework.
