Providing semantic information for the description of web services through the use of ontology, Semantic Web Services technology makes it possible to understand web services by computer, and also provides the technical foundation to discover web services automatically. This paper based on the study of the problem of service discovery in web service field. On the basis of service-oriented architecture and semantic web services technology, an in-depth study about how to carry out the semantic web service discovery in large-scale distributed environment has been done in this paper.On the foundation of the research about the existing P2P network technology and web service discovery technology, this paper analyzed the characteristics of P2P networks and the features about the description of semantic web services. After that, this paper proposed a hybrid P2P network used for semantic web service discovery. Hybrid P2P network is a mixed network created by the combination of the theoretical results of existing structured and unstructured P2P networks and the introduction of the small-world phenomenon in the self-organizing network into a structured P2P network Chord model.This article first proposed the concept of node interest degree, and gave this target a computational method based on the small-world phenomenon existing in unstructured P2P networks. Node interest degree is used for rapid discovery of network resources to nodes of interest in the non-structure network. Then, proposed one kind of resources discovery model in unstructured P2P network based on the node interest degree, InterestedNodeModel. In InterestedNodeModel based network, each node constantly modifies its own routing table by calculating "interest degree" of all nodes in the way of a query, which will search the request transmitted to the most interested in one or more nodes with a view to faster discovery of resources. In the following work, introduced the small-world thought into structurized P2P network Chord, transforms Chord through the increasement of interest neighbor table, constructed a mixed topology P2P network, INCP, which has faster resource discovery capabilities. Based on INCP and characteristics of description of semantic web service, a method of semantic web service discovery is proposed in this paper, and through the simulation experiment, confirmed that the hybrid P2P network has a better performance and higher efficiency in the process of semantic web service discovery.
