The primary task in this paper is to design an automatic control system of the equipment whose is to tension-assisted cold rolling. After analyzing the machining technics and precision of the, got the request of the control system, and designed an integrated control system whit high efficiency and high precision. This integrated control system includes two systems: the motion control system takes charge of the primary function of cold rolling, and the electric-hydraulic pressure servo system takes charge of the assistant function of cold tensioning and collection of the experiment data.Firstly, study on the control theory and the characteristic of the fluid drive system and PLC control system, analysis on the problems when the equipment of tension-assisted cold rolling applied these control systems, especially, investigating the theoretics of the three closed loops control system's transfer function, to validate the characteristic of the motion control system satisfy the requirement of the automatic control system whose function is tension-assisted cold rolling. Finally, choose the integrated control system which includes SIEMENS Motion Control System and electric-hydraulic pressure servo system, to accomplish the equipment of tension-assisted cold rolling together.Secondly, introduce the characteristic of the SINAMICS S120, it is the hardware of the SIEMENS motion control system. Introduce the characteristic of the SIMOTION SCOUT, it is the software of the SIEMENS motion control system. Design the control system of the tension-assisted cold rolling, make multi-parameter march on logic and time. It use the measure include earthing, shield, power supply anti-jamming and so on, to improve the system dependability. And these make the stability and the dependability of the whole system stepping up.Finally, studying and discussing the precision of the system. The system precision is the final target. After the debugging, the systemic running result is satisfied the expect requirement basically, validate the rationality of the design. After analyzing the system problem, to summarize the experience, bring forward the advice to improve tension-assisted cold rolling.
