With the rapid development of mobile service and the applying of broadband technical,the competition of servives and customers; between mobile and fixed operators are constantly increasing, specially with the new technicals like HSDPA,WIMAX,FLASHOFDM,VoIP becoming mature,making the two sides capable to permeate through the other side's field,which upgrade the competition.Furthermore, the awarding of the license for new services(Including moblie and fixed service) also makes the competition situation more uncertain.Generally speaking, the FMC we are talking about contains network convergence,terminal convergence and service convergence three aspects, in this paper, we starts from terminal convergence, bring forward a solution based on WiFi-SIP, and introduce a solution of the related technical VoWLAN which is used to realize convergence, then do research on the solution of handover, make plans to improve it.In the first chapter of this paper, we state the current development of FMC, illustrate the background and the significance of writing this paper; In the second chapter we introduce the relevant technicals like WiFi,IMS and SIP, here WiFi as the unlicensed wireless access technical, we talk about the basic concept and advantage of WiFi, IMS, as the core network in the future, we introduce the architecture,functional entities and service architecture, finally the system structure,the registration and session flows of SIP which is used in IMS as signal protocol is introduced in this chapter; The third chapter covers the solution and architecture of FMC based on WIFI-SIP, bring forward the solution of realizing VoWLAN, including the solution of the architecture of VoWLAN, the solution of the hardware and software of VoWLAN terminal; The fourth chapter focus on the key handover technical VCC, including the VCC architecture, the functional entities need to be added into the current IMS architecture and their functions, also the basic registration and call session procedures,the preparation for handover and the realization of handover between IMS and CS domain are discussed; In the last chapter of this paper ,we make a conclusion of the paper ,and give our prospect to the research on handover technical of data service.
