Computer-based Three-tier C / S Mode "cultural Basis" Test System Design And Realization

Along with the development of computer and network technology,the computer course has been developed widely in many colleges, With the result of the"Basic Computer Knowledge", as a required course, also has been carried out in Kangding Nationality Teachers College. Obviously, it was not suitable some years ago for the students to attend the term test of"Basic Computer Knowledge"by the means of paper for these reasons: first, it is really an instrumental course; second, this course has different requirements to different majors, such as the teaching prerequisite, aims, key points and difficulties…etc., and the third, more test papers different in content needed to be made every term, all mentioned in above costs more for the school. So the Kangding Nationality Teachers College decides to develop an examination system in order to meet the needs of teaching and testing. This examination system will be developed with the advanced three-layer pattern (C/S), Delphi(a kind of compiled software) ,and SQL Server2005 (a large database of backstage supporter just designed by Microsoft). Therefore, it will have a high practical value for it will satisfy the examination demands in our college. This paper with four chapters will discuss this practical examination system in detail as the following:In Chapter One, the author gives a brief introduction to the examination system's history, present and some common schemas in this field, as well elaborates the significance from this system.In Chapter Two, this essay introduces and compares some related theories of Multilayer Distribution Type, CORBA and COM/DCOM, esp. the C/S (Client/Server) pattern and B/S (Brower/Server) pattern. In addition to this, some analyses on how to realize the support in the aspect of binary cloth type application program to introduce Delphi are brought to talk in this chapter, too.In Chapter Three, it introduces how to carry out demand analysis, and how to design the system amply to deal with the result of analyzing, like the division of function modular, definition of database structure.In Chapter Four, the crucial technology, group roll algorithm, how to go over the examination papers automatically and how to realize the safety in database…etc., are discussed in detail.
