Gis In The Local Network Of The Mobile Communication Network

With the development of Internet, the application of Geographic Information System (GIS) has penetrated with the society, because the geographic information is very important informative resource for the development and advancement of society. GIS is mainly used for processing and depositing dimensional information, which is a combination of computer graphics and database. It integrates geographic location information and related attributes, and works out the accurate results.Information Management System of School only focuses on the input, process, analysis and management of the attributes of data. But most data is based on the dimensional information, such as the distributed assets information of the school, which can't be competent for MIS and CAD. The manager of school could use GIS to grip the accurate information, query and analyze it easily. It would be the credible gist for the forecast and decision making of the development of schools.The design and development of MIS based on GIS is proposed in this paper. First, the design which uses maps to manage buildings is put forward, which is based on the analysis of the buildings in KangDing normal school. Second, the object and scheme of the project is constituted. Third, the functions of the system and the data structure are defined. Finally, VBScript, ActiveX, ASP, Oracle Spatial Database, MapInfo Professional, MapX, and MapXtreme are used for the development of the system.It is shown that the system which is based on the MapXtreme map server and MapInfo could deposit and manage the digital information of school. It reveals all kinds of information and image of school by electronic maps. It also provides the functions of bidirectional query, dimensional analysis and statistic of school information. This system could not only solve the management of school information, but also propagandize the visage of the school.
