In modern EW, with the feature of no electromagnetic wave emission and long detection range, passive location and tracking technology takes an important part in electronic reconnaissance. Because of avoiding from complicated time synchronization and data fusion between(from) multi-stations, single-station location and tracking system is becoming a hotspot in research. And multi-station location and tracking system is capable of providing more information and higher accuracy, it also takes moreattention, especially modern distributed group network systems. Location and tracking are required to perform target moving analysis, and the basic problem is to use noise observated data to fit the track of moving target. In the passive location system, the higher location accuracy is researched and concerned all the time. This article makes some discussions based on the modeling, location principle and location technology with assistant of location tracking, Especially the assistance location technology with high speed and high accuracy, which improves the performance of location tracking.The arrangement of content is described as follow:In Chapter One, it makes a detailed description on the background of passive location, emphasis on the importance in the research of passive location, and then gives an introduction on domestic and exotic actuality of passive location. Finally, it gives a detailed elaboration on the main structure of this paper.In Chapter two, it makes a detailed description on the research of conventional fixed multi-station location method. It gives the analysis on TDOA passive location technology, DOA passive location technology and Doppler FDOA passive location technology. From the principle to the final simulation results, it gives a very detailed demonstration and verification on the basis of three-dimension.In the chapter three, four, and five, it begins to elaborate the passive location method with assistant, which is this research mainly do.At present, the passive location on external emitter is capable to solve the problems that passive location cannot perform location tracking on non-radioactive electromagnetic wave, but it is hard to actualize it. So, in chapter three, it elaborates the research of passive location method of external emitter irradiation on fixed multi-stations with non-cooperation. It mainly does the analysis on external emitter TDOA passive location technology and external emitter FDOA/DOA passive location technology. And it performs a dedicated discussion on realization algorithm of two systems.GPS location is similar with passive location, and the differentiated GPS principle is capable to improve the location accuracy effectively, the chapter four uses position difference principle for reference to perform an improvement on traditional passive location system, elaborates the passive location method based on the position difference principle. And its theoretical basis is from mature GPS position differentiated principle. In the following, it performs plentiful and comprehensivesimulations on this improved system to verify the improvement of location accuracy by using this method.In Chapter five, it elaborates a new system passive location method combined with WGS84 model. In recent years, this method is a hotspot, which utilizes the location constraint condition of the third party standard to reduce the quantity of equipment and improve the accuracy. This is a new system, at the same time, under this system, plenty of work is done to verify the effectiveness of location algorithm based on the meshing search, and gets plenty of valuable simulation result.
