In this thesis, the scheme of high-gain amplifying-demodulation is adopted in our miniaturization radiometer receiver channel, which is based on our analysis on radiometer architecture. In order to model our researching front-end channel system, the cosimulation work of the system is fulfilled with EM simulation softwore HFSS, CST and circuit-simulation softwore ADS.In order to realize our wide band requirement, two kinds of wide band matching architectures with the form of microstrip are proposed. By our optimization design process, two kinds of wide-band detector circuit topology structures with 15 GHz and 20 GHz bandwidth are accomplished. Through using via hole technology in transition simulating the characteristic of SIW, the resonance problem of transition is effectively avoided, a novel filter topology whose structure is simple and reliable is proposed and at last the wide-band amplify simulation work and circuit architecture is presented.The testing result of the detector in15 GHz bandwidth indicates that the voltage sensitivity is above 1000 mV/mW from 85.5GHz to 98GHz, from 93GHz to 98GHz, the voltage sensitivity is above 1500 mv/mw, from 94.5GHz to 97GHz, the voltage sensitivity is above 2000 mv/mw, while from 80GHz to 103.5GHz, the voltage sensitivity is above 600mv/mw.The testing result of the detector in 20GHz bandwidth indicates that the voltage sensitivity is above 800mv/mw from 83GHz to104GHz, and the best response of the voltage sensitivity is 2300mv/mw.In our research work of the detector, we have resolved the following key technology:(1) Wide-band matching technology: the simulated relative band width of the detector is over twenty percent, the voltage sensitivity is above 1000mv/mw in relative bandwidth over 16%, the voltage sensitivity is above 1500 mv/mw in relative bandwidth over 5%, and while from 80GHz to 107GHz, the voltage sensitive is above 800mv/mw.(2) Miniaturization technology: based on our analysis and optimization work, our required miniature and wide band W band detector is designed. And the circuits dimension is 1.23cm~* 1.8cm.
