College Oa System, The Application Of Workflow Technology And Research

In OA, the great mass of work appears in form of a workflow, so during the development of OA, workflows play important roles. Especially in the last decades, Organisations are turning to accept workflow approach to control those processes. Workflow management systems are used to configure and control structured business processes from which well-defined models and instances can be derived.On the aspect of how to improve the effective of real-world's work processes, many experts, involving dometic and overseas, have done so much work. However, as the nature of WfMSs, inflexibly and rigidly structured business processes specification and execution mechanisms, make it typically difficult to supporting unexpected change or developmental change occurring in the work practices. Organisations, analysts and system developers, are gradually thinking much of the flexibility and exception events'support of WfMSsAs an education function department, Universities also have a lot of work processes, some are even more complicated than common. It has developed for years that how to make OA more efficient in the building of Digital Compus. As the important role it plays in OA, workflow technology will certainly have greater value in this area. Since only the static and standardized processes can be fully modeled with the current WfMSs, a vast number of organizations are unable to take advantage of the possible benefits workflows could bring. This paper mainly studied these problem areas, and complicated an application of a new approach improving the ability of exception handling.In the first place, this thesis introduces the status in these fields in China and abroad. Based on the discussion about many approaches to this issues through some specific Criteria, selected the more appropriate solution. Then this paper deeply analyzed the way of dynamic selection and exception event handling. Finally, using the YAWL language, achieved myself experience about application of the workflow technology in university area. All in all, the paper and the achieved are valuable in all the workflow practices environments.
