With development of the infrared thermal imaging technique, infrared imaging system has been widely applied in military and civilian field. Uncooled infrared imaging system occupies an important position in the development of infrared imaging system, for its low price, high reliability, small bulk and low power consumption. In order to widen the application of uncooled infrared imaging system in different fields, in this dissertation microprocessor system of signal processing circuit in uncooled infrared imaging system is designed.Microprocessor system takes charge of management and control of the uncooled infrared thermal imaging system, mainly about the workflow control of uncooled infrared imaging system, data loading and communication, character overlap, man-machine conversation and so on. This paper analyzes the basic theory of the uncooled infrared thermal imaging technology, and discusses the characteristic of the infrared focal plane array, as well as the theory of non-uniformity correction of infrared image. Combined with the principle of signal processing circuit in uncooled infrared imaging system and its applying requirements in different fields, two microprocessor modules are designed.To meet high requirements of system miniaturization in some equipment, such as light thermal weapon sight, microprocessor system based on the Nios II processor is designed. It could control the workflow of infrared imaging system effectively, and achieve the following functions, including the computation of non-uniformity correction coefficient, the generation of cross dividing line, keyboard and character overlap. At the same time, to expand the infrared imaging system's application in the industrial field, microprocessor system on the basis of DSP is designed, and the hardware circuit design is completed, as well as the hardware testing and software debugging. It completes the following functions, including keyboard and LCD display, and CAN-BUS communication.
